On behalf of the Guidry family, we are heartbroken to share the loss of our beloved father and grandfather, Bruce Michael Guidry.

Bruce was a devoted father of four, a proud grandfather to four beautiful grandchildren, and a cherished friend, coworker, and neighbor to so many.

Bruce lived a full life of love, adventure, and service. From scuba diving and spear fishing to cheering on his grandkids at every soccer, football and baseball game, Bruce never sat still — always giving, always present. He had a deep love for family, good coffee, being on the water, BBQing, and staying close to the people who meant the most to him.

Tragically, Bruce’s home and everything inside it was completely lost, along with his life in a devastating house fire. All of his personal belongings, memories, and possessions — gone in an instant.

As we navigate this incredibly difficult time, many have asked how they can help. In lieu of flowers, we are humbly asking for contributions to assist with expenses related to his passing and to help our family recover from the loss of his home.

These funds will go toward all essential bills, memorial arrangements, and supporting our family as we work through this painful chapter.

Bruce was always the first to show up for others — now we are reaching out for those who may wish to show up for him, one last time.
