Jeff Brown, age 45, of Houlton, WI, struggled with mental illness and, after a courageous battle, took his life on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. This page is to honor Browner, the amazing man that he was, and support his wonderful wife Angie and their beautiful daughters in the days to come.
Jeff was born on May 29, 1975, in St. Paul, Minnesota to parents Gary and Joyce (Schmoeckel) Brown. He graduated from Hudson High School and continued his education at the University of Minnesota – Duluth, where he obtained a degree in Finance. He received his MBA from St. Cloud State University. He was proud of his many years of work at US Bancorp Investments. It was when he was in college in Duluth that he met the love of his life, Angie Weyer. They were married on August 7, 1999, and were blessed with three wonderful daughters.
Jeff was a thoughtful man, devoted husband, and father, and always wanted to help others whenever he could. His strong and calm demeanor was a comfort to those around him. He loved spending time with his daughters, playing with them on the soccer field, golfing, and having movie nights. His happy place was up at the cabin, where he spent many weekends with family and friends entertaining many with his great sense of humor. His favorite hobbies included: soccer, golf, and watching the Vikings.
He will remain in the hearts of his wife, Angie; daughters: Isabel, Gillian, and Ava; mother, Joyce Brown; siblings: Jody (Troy) Timm, Pam (Frank) Greer, Mark (Glenda) Brown, and Kim (Mitch) Eichman; mother-in-law, Debbie Weyer; father-in-law, Mark (Wendy) Weyer; and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Brown; and grandparents, Gib and Eulah Schmoeckel and Ed and Nyla Brown.
