 With permission from my brother and his wife, Kyle & Amie Larkin, I have set up this fund for the medical, emergency services and bills. After all is paid, the remainder will be donated to The Organization for Autism Research. 

 My brother, his wife, and two autistic teenage boys Adam (age 16) and Gabriel (age 14) had just moved to the Big Island of Hawaii. They were enjoying a fun day at the beach, swimming together, when they were swept out to the ocean by a current and high surf. After much effort, the boys didn’t make it and drowned. The authorities have called off the search for Gabe after a few days. 

 My family has lost two beautiful lights in this tragedy. They were the kindest, sweetest, most loving boys who were each other’s best friends. Both boys were born in Hawaii, but the family moved to Maryland when they were young. There they attended some wonderful schools for children on the spectrum. 

 My brother and wife are hurting so much, as they have lost their children. Respecting their wishes, they would like no calls, emails, or contact right now as it is just too much to bear at the moment. 

They will be having a “Celebration of Life” in the near future with close family in Utah. We are very grateful for any and all donations for these grieving parents.
