This past weekend, my dear friend Linda experienced an unimaginable loss, her beloved daughter Brooke took her own life.

Linda and Brooke weren’t just mother and daughter, they were partners and best friends. Together, they ran a small business bringing smiles to children’s faces through face painting at local swap meets and festivals. Their creativity, laughter, and kindness made them a bright spot in every community event they attended.

Now, Linda is facing a heartbreak no parent should ever have to endure. Along with the emotional toll, she’s unsure how she’ll manage financially. Face painting was something she and Brooke shared, and she doesn’t know if she can continue without her.

This fundraiser is to help give Linda time to grieve without the added worry of bills or business expenses. Every donation will go directly to her for living costs, memorial arrangements, and space to heal.
