In Memory of Brian Fittje (Chis)

For the past 18 months, we have all kept our friend and colleague Dr. Roxy Chis in our thoughts as she supported her husband, Brian Fittje, in his brave battle against glioblastoma multiforme.

It is with a heavy heart to learn that Brian lost his battle with the dreadful disease on Sunday June 13th.

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology has set a goal of $2,500 to be raised for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, in accordance with Roxy and Brian's wishes. Any funds received in excess of this goal will be donated. - We will use this GoFundMe to We will also be making an independent gift of $250 from Divisional funds to provide pre-made meals to Roxy and her family in this time of need, and an additional $250 to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
