Brent Scott wasn’t just a man who loved the holidays — he was someone who created them. He brought magic, warmth, and joy into every space he touched. To his four children, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, Brent was holiday magic. His kindness was quiet but powerful, and his love was something you could feel the moment you stepped through his door.
For decades, Brent and his beloved wife, Angela, transformed their home into a place of wonder each Halloween and Christmas. Their decorations weren’t just lights and ornaments — they were love letters to family, to community, and to the joy they took in sharing the holiday magic with others. After Angela passed away last year, Brent’s devotion to continuing their tradition became even deeper. Every light he hung, every decoration he placed, was done in her memory.
This year, while trying to place a shining star atop the nearly forty-foot tree in his front yard — the same star he and Angela once hung together — Brent suffered a devastating fall. He fought with unbelievable strength for eleven long days. His family held onto hope with every breath he took, but tragically, he passed from his injuries.
Losing Brent this way has shattered the hearts of everyone who loved him. Yet even in this tragedy, there is a bittersweet peace — knowing he left this world doing something rooted in love, honoring Angela, and trying to bring light to others. Now, he is finally reunited with the wife he missed so deeply.
His family is now facing not only overwhelming grief, but unexpected and urgent financial hardship. Funeral costs alone are significant, and on top of that, they are fighting to protect and preserve Brent’s estate so it is not lost in the aftermath of his passing.
We are asking for help — any help — from those who knew Brent, those who were touched by his kindness, or anyone moved by his story. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference and provide relief during a time of unimaginable pain.
Brent’s love, his traditions, and the joy he brought to others will never fade. His light lives on in every memory, every holiday season, and every person who was warmed by his gentle spirit.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for supporting the family during this heartbreaking time.
