In Memory of Brenda De Windt
Donation protected
It is with great sadness, we share that our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and dearest of friends, Brenda De Windt passed away the evening of Monday, February 7th peacefully while in the company of her loved ones.
Anyone who knew Brenda was touched by one of the kindest, funniest, most beautiful souls to ever grace this Earth. Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi; Brenda was the epitome of Southern Hospitality. From her unforgettable egg rolls to her captivating conversation - often unknowingly offering the best advice, Brenda
expressed abounding positivity, love and acceptance for anyone and everyone she interacted with. In her world everyone had a place, and everyone was loved.
Brenda exceeded all boundaries of a truly faithful Christian woman. She also enjoyed planting flowers, and being outdoors, music and road tripping to Jackson to visit her mother Annie and her siblings, thrifting at the Goodwill and hanging out with her grandchildren. Brenda was an incredibly proud mother of her 3 sons, Owen Jr. (of Minneapolis, Minnesota), Brian (and wife Brittany of Milwaukee, Wisconsin) and Justin (of Phoenix, Arizona), and her two grandchildren Brian Jr., and Brielle. She also took great pride in her work as the School Information Manager at Highland Community School in Milwaukee for over 30 years. It was one of her greatest joys to see her grandchildren who attend Highland while clocking in each day.
We didn't have enough time with Brenda. She is and forever will be so sorely missed.
We have organized this Fund as many of our loved ones have expressed a desire to help Brenda's family in a practical sense. If you wish to contribute to this memorial for Brenda, we want you to know that these funds will go to funeral expenses and the maintaining of Brenda's home.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Her boys will ensure her love lives on.
