It is with profound and unimaginable sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved husband and father. On June 7th, on his 48th birthday, Breck Foulkes passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by love, in the arms of his wife, Katherine, and their three beautiful children, Jasmine, Ave, and Sol. He was diagnosed with ALS in 2017 and was given two years to live. Despite the devastating diagnosis, he fought like the fierce warrior that he was, and managed to live nine more years - a testament to his spirit and to the extraordinary love he held for his family.

Those who knew Breck know what a loyal, caring, devoted father, husband, and provider he was. His family meant the world to him, and he poured his all into creating a beautiful and joyful life, lived with deep intention and love, and in his final years, that love was returned to him tenfold.

As Breck's illness progressed - requiring feeding tubes, a tracheostomy, and around-the-clock care - Katherine, Jasmine (28), and Ave (22) dropped everything and shifted their entire lives to be by his side. They gave years of their lives to ensure he was comfortable, cared for, and at home where he belonged. That devotion was a gift of immeasurable love they held for their beloved husband and father.

The medical costs of nearly a decade of living with ALS are staggering. Their entire life savings and retirement funds were spent on the enormous medical bills associated with this devastating disease and the daily care required to keep Breck comfortable at home. Breck was the family's primary provider, and with no other outside family support, Katherine now faces the task of raising their youngest son, Sol, age 5, while their older children, Jasmine and Ave - who dedicated the last years of their young lives to caregiving - are left rebuilding from the ground up. Breck and Katherine built a beautiful homestead with their own hands - a lifestyle of deep meaning and intention - and they need support to sustain it now that their fearless leader is gone.

As this family moves through mourning and begins the journey of healing, your generosity will give them the time and space to be together, to grieve, and to start their next chapter without financial devastation compounding their loss.
