It is with broken hearts that we share the devastating loss of Brayden McDonald, a beautiful soul taken far too soon at just 19 years old in a tragic motorcycle accident. Brayden had recently graduated high school and was standing at the very beginning of his life, full of promise, dreams, and potential. He was a genuinely good kid, he was kind, loving, respectful, and someone who left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Brayden was deeply loved by his parents, Jayme and Michael McDonald, and the pain of losing him is unimaginable. No words can truly capture the heartbreak of a parent losing a child. Their world was changed forever in an instant.
Jayme is a dedicated nurse at one of our local hospitals who has spent her career caring for others in their most vulnerable moments. Now, she is facing the most painful chapter of her own life. In her overwhelming grief, she has been unable to return to work as she mourns her son and tries to find a way forward through the pain.
This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial burden placed on this family during an incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will go toward Brayden’s funeral and memorial expenses, as well as providing support for Jayme and Michael as they navigate life after such a profound loss.
Any donation, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated and will help relieve some of the stress so this family can focus on grieving, healing, and honoring Brayden’s memory. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Jayme, Michael, and all who loved Brayden in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and support during this heartbreaking time.
