Brandon went to be with Jesus on January 30th, 2025. Funds raised will go towards his funeral expenses and help his wife, Katie, in the coming months ahead.

Brandon Maurice Diericks, 30, went into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on January 30th, 2025. Brandon was a son and brother, who became a husband and a best friend.  Brandon grew up living the farm life dream with his Mother, Amy and Father, Morey. Whether it was looking for barn kittens, taking long walks down the lane with the family’s trusty cat, Max (The cat usually only made it halfway) or racing sticks down the drainage ditches, he was up for an adventure. He enjoyed reading Harry Potter to his little sister, Olivia as she settled into bed. He also enjoyed visits to his Grandma Darlene’s house with his older sister, Rachael. Through the years, Brandon was smarter than a whip, settling into his history buff role rather quickly. He had a fascination with battleships and historic battles, in particular the battle ship USS Missouri. He would often theorize about historical outcomes and entertained his girl friend, Katie and his Dad, Morey with all the potential. In high school, Brandon even joined Robotics Club to spend extra time with Katie. We all found out later that “Robotics Club” was just a cover for afternoon dates with her. He knew every car that drove down the street thanks to car magazines and his favorite show, Top Gear. He would be anyone’s number one choice pick when visiting a dealership to buy a car.

Brandon married Katie DeBrock in 2016 and together built a life they loved. They bought a house during Covid in March of 2020 while he worked for Emerick Pest Control.  While they worked hard they also had so much fun together. He loved going to Disney World and Universal Studios and took his role as top researcher for the trips very seriously while Katie booked them.  When Brandon laughed you couldn’t help but laugh with him and when he smiled you found yourself smiling back and your world was  brighter for it.

Brandon was proceeded into death by his paternal grandparents, Eugene and MaryLou “Punky” Diericks and maternal grandfather, Dale Holland.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Katie Diericks, his parents, Maurice & Amy Diericks, his maternal grandmother, Darlene Holland and his sisters, Rachael Diericks Forbes (Andrew) and Olivia Diericks.

Those who always laughed at his sense of humor and treasured their time with him include - Brian and Tricia DeBrock, Rob and Kari Coombes, Katie’s grandparents, Richard and Lynda Gradert, sisters-in-law, Molly (Cole) Beckman and Sally (Camden) Kapusta as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and his first nephew, Daxton Beckman who loved his, “Uncle B.”
