In Memory of Boris Kravchenko, organized by Boris Jr

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Boris Kravchenko on March 14th, 2025, at the age of 61, while vacationing in Lake Louise, Alberta. Born on February 4th, 1964 in Riga, Latvia, he is survived by his mother Natalija Kravchenko, his loving wife Olga Zhelnina, his son Boris Kravchenko Jr. and his future daughter in law, Dalena Truong.

Boris had a zest for life and found many joys, especially being out in nature. He cherished annual family ski trips, travelling with his wife, and capturing the beauty of local trails through his photography. At home, he enjoyed barbequing in his backyard, working on home construction projects, unwinding to a good movie or immersing himself with high-fidelity music.

He was a fixture of strength in his family, leaving behind a legacy of integrity, kindness and resilience. He will be remembered by his family as a loving son, husband, and father, who prioritized others over himself. He has left an indelible mark on the lives of whom he has touched and will be greatly missed.

This GoFundMe is being set up at the request of friends and family to assist with funeral expenses, and helping the family during this difficult time. All funds will go directly to his surviving family.
