It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Bonnie Lantor, our cherished librarian at Doris Reed Elementary. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Bonnie is finally at peace. Her kindness, dedication, and love for children touched every corner of our school community.

At the request of Bonnie’s family, we have created this GoFundMe to support the Doris Reed Library—the place where Bonnie poured her heart, passion, and creativity every single day. Nothing meant more to her professionally than fostering a love of reading in students and creating a safe, welcoming space where every child felt seen and inspired. Through this memorial fund, Bonnie’s family wishes to honor her by helping the library continue the work she loved so deeply.
