Bobbie Jane Slayman passed away at 3:45 am on Monday, Aug 12, 2019, after a courageous three-year battle against breast cancer. Bobbie passed away at home, surrounded by her husband of 42 years and her three children. There was a serene sense of calm as Bobbie transitioned to heaven where she will stand tall as the guardian angel for her five grandsons; Jacob, 8, Gunnar, 4, Rocco 4, Hank, 3, and Wilder, 1.
Bobbie was a powerful force in life and leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family and friends. Her courage was unbreakable, even in her last breaths. Not even her death was immune to her stubbornness; she waited until after midnight to make sure she did not pass on her husband Steve’s birthday.
Bobbie’s children: Eric, Lucas, and Emily have requested donations to be made in her memory to the Bobbie Jane Slayman Memorial GoFundme Page. The donations will be directed to help their dad with Bobbie’s medical expenses.
