Thank you for helping us reach our goal. We could not have done this without everyone who has helped us. We are not wanting to take any more donations. We cannot thank Frederick Dean Funeral home (Joesph Dean) enough for everything he has done for us and to Brother Rusty Sowell for being there for us today and to the ladies at Providence Baptist church for the meal that was provided tonight. Thank you to everyone who spoke tonight and joined us. You all are amazing and a true Blessing for us to call family and friends. Thank you we send hugs and best wishes to all of you!
(The donations were used to pay for cremation services and pay for a headstone that will be placed on Billys cremated remains once they are buried.)
Billy Travis Walls of Opelika passed away on October 24th, 2024. He was 44 years old. He loved his daughter and son. His first grandchild was born October 18th. He has suffered from stage 4 cancer and recovered from open heart surgery just to make sure to see his grandson. This accident was sudden and unexpected. None of us was prepared and why should we be since he was doing so well. His daughter Hannah has a 7day old baby Miller at home and now this. Our hearts are broken. Since Billy had so many health issues, we have learned he didn't have any insurance. So, we ask now all family, and friends help us to ease this burden. We have the arrangements they are going to be at Fredrick Dean Funeral home in Opelika, Sunday, November 3rd 4-6pm and Service in the chapel at 3pm on Monday November 4th with Brother Rusty Sowell presiding. We are going to need 2200.00 total. We have been so blessed by all those who have been giving and we have a great start on help to keep this from being a burden on us and Hannah. Below is a touch of his story. Thank you for any amount you can give.
