In Memory of Bill Balyeat

Our friend and colleague Jennee Balyeat unexpectedly lost her husband Bill, father to Becca and Kayte, on Wednesday, March10th, 2021. They were on an emergency visit at his parents' home in Tonasket, Washington, when Bill suffered a sudden and catastrophic heart attack.
The Balyeats have been a fixture in our Bothell community for a very long time, moving to the neighborhood in the 1990s. Both Becca and Kayte graduated from Bothell High School (classes of 2003 and 2014). Bill was the neighborhood handyman and mechanic, an avid fan of Kayte’s softball teams, and he loved getting the family boat onto Lake Washington via the slough.
Jennee, Becca, and Kayte are understandably overwhelmed and not fully prepared for all that goes along with the passing of a loved one. Because of their long history in our community, many people have reached out asking how to show support, express condolences, or otherwise help. Since this comes with such a sudden financial impact, we are raising money to help cover the costs of memorial services, medical expenses, and whatever else they may need to get them through this difficult time.
