In Memory of Bevin Whitehead
Donation protected
On the 24th August, our Bevin passed away suddenly from a heart attack at the very young age of 39. Bevin's family and I are all absolutely devastated and trying to get through this time as best that we can. To try and gain something positive from this tragedy, we would like to raise money in Bevin's memory to support two charities very close to our hearts and that we think Bevin would love.
Firstly, the Cardiology Department at Aintree Hospital in Liverpool. This is where Bevin proudly worked as Cardiac Physiologist and where his passion lay. He worked with so many wonderful people and for a department which achieves incredible things. We believe Bevin would love that any money raised could support the place which bought him much joy.
The second charity we have chosen is the Cardiac Risk in the Young. https://www.c-r-y.org.uk/ The sudden loss of Bevin has been completely devastating for all those around him in his work and personal life. The C-R-Y do amazing work in preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families.
Any donations made will be split between these two wonderful charities. Heartfelt thank you for all of your messages, kindness and support given to us over the past few weeks. It means the world and helps more than you know.
Thank you.
