He was sometimes happiest when left to his own devices – whether it was tinkering in the shed, fixing one of his cars, or working on one of the many projects for the farm. He was a self-professed petrol head, and loved nothing more than jumping in the car and spinning up the tires with friends.
He had an endless capacity to share, his information, his time, and whatever possessions he had in stock. He had huge heart and touched many people’s lives, always ready to bring a laugh and tell a story.
His family was never far from his mind; as a father of two, Nathan and Khia were always the priority and at the forefront of his thoughts.
A father, a husband, a friend, and a colleague, it’s difficult to imagine him not being around.
In lieu of flowers, we are reaching out for donations to the Marks family to alleviate some stress, however small, and give back to a man that gave so much.
We will miss him.
