Hello, I'm the mother of the most wonderful young man whose life was cut short at 3:30 this morning, 9/8/24, by someone who has no respect for life on the interstate. Ben was my joy, my protector; he took care of his mom and looked after me. He was out enjoying a night ride on his new Harley motorcycle when a car sideswiped one car, and from what I've heard, he was hit and killed instantly. He did not stand a chance.

My day shattered at 6:30 with a call I never wanted to receive: my son was gone. Ben was a friend to all, always a kind word to say about everyone, always there to help others, looked out for others, not just his mom and family but those around him. He was a hard worker with so many dreams and aspirations, studying hard to take the exam so he could one day also become an officer to help make a difference. He touched many lives in his short life and made a difference in all who knew him.

I'm now faced with planning a funeral, an expense I did not anticipate, and any help is greatly appreciated. To those who ride, know you're in my prayers for safety. Thank you.
