In memory’ of beloved Senait Haileab

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Senait Hailab, who was a single mother of two adult children, Meron and Jemsan Abdelrzik. Senait was well known in  her community for her generosity and friendliness. She was an active participant of all community services and social gatherings.  Senait liked to help others who needed the most and above all she worked hard to raise her two children as a single mother.  It is obvious, there are challenges in life but what made Senait's life unique was that after she lost her job, it became very tough to land in any other job and due to this predicament, she later lost her house and got thrown out on the street, She would have been homeless for months to follow had it not been for her friends who did their best to get her temporary housing. This of course added lots of worries and stress in her life and she became clinically depressed. The last two years, she has been in treatment for her depression. On February 11th, Senait was  found  dead in her apartment. The cause of her death is currently unknown and is still under investigation


Senait is survived by her two children Meron  and Jemsan. Senait will always be remembered as a kind person with  a good heart. May she  Rest In Peace. This fundraising is created to ease the financial burden on the children due to memorial cost and also the financial stress they had to endure for the last 2 plus years due to sudden disruption of family life, which also forced them to  suspend and resume their college attendance multiple times.
