In Memory of Barbara: Stroke Support Fund

Most of you know me and know what I’ve gone through in the past 5 years. I suffered a stroke in 2020, and my best friend and best woman in the world, Barbara, helped me immensely get through it. Fast forward to 2023, and I lost Barbara to a massive stroke which took her life.

I was devastated and lost. Then I discovered an incredible organization that gave me purpose in my life.

Spokes Fighting Strokes helps stroke survivors by having nationwide Wheelchair Marathons in which every participant is a stroke survivor! I’m proud to say I joined this organization a year ago, and I’m participating in my very first 12-mile marathon next week in North Carolina!

I am asking my friends for a TWELVE DOLLAR ($1.00 per mile) donation to Spokes Fighting Strokes to continue their amazing work with stroke victims. Every dollar of your donation goes straight to SFS!

This organization means the world to me. They pulled me out of a very dark place and gave me purpose.
