In Memory of baby Russell, an angel always.

Hi, I am Jessi, a ginger sister in Christ to a very dear couple who had to walk through the very unexpected loss of their Beautiful Baby boy, at 8months along this month. Christa and Zack Waller brought Russell Monroe Waller into our world Jun14th, and he went straight to the Lord.

After this tragic experience, I will share Christa and Zack's story below, I wanted to learn how to support them the best way possible. I WAS SHOCKED to learn the cost of a stillbirth, the medical costs alone of delivering a child is higher than I expected but to learn a stillbirth can cost just as much was hard to absorb. I cannot imagine the stress, heartache and knowledge of gaining debt from this loss.

I offered to start this gofundme for them, to allow the village it takes to raise a child to help support this amazing couple. Donations for the memorial/ funeral for baby Russell, donations to cover her hospital stay, donations towards the therapy they are going to seek to help them walk this path. In lieu of flowers, or food I also would love to bless them with additional funds to allow them to have an escape for healing, a concert, a get away, or tattoo for baby Russell.

"Friends and family, as many of you have heard, we are currently going through a very tough season. June 14th our son, Russell Monroe Waller, went to heaven. He was a very active little guy until Sunday the 11th his heart stopped beating and he was no longer active. Christa was induced on the 12th and after 3 days of labor, and prayer for the life of our son, he was stillborn at 35 weeks. The umbilical cord was wrapped around his waist and leg twice then pulled thin at his stomach. There was nothing we could have done to prevent this tragedy. We were trusting God and believed He was able to bring Russell back to life, but it was not His will. We are confident and comforted that when he opened his eyes for the first time he saw the face of Jesus and he is up in heaven worshiping our savior and waiting for us to all be together again.

Many have asked how they can be supportive:

1. Prayer. Above all else we believe in the power of prayer and we are asking for prayer for our family, and for his life to be a testimony of God's goodness. Our desire is for many people's faith to grow through this tragedy as we unite in prayer and grow closer to the Lord as he holds our precious boy.

We would love to get away for a weekend (for Zacks healing), go to a concert (for Christas healing), and get tattoos in memory of Russell, as well as we know other expenses will arise as we navigate everything.
