My name is Leah Sebetich, Jacob’s sister, and I’m doing this for my family. It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that our family has suffered a very tragic loss. A loss no parent should ever endure. This morning around 5:40am, my one-month-old nephew Dean, was found unresponsive.
After multiple life-saving efforts, my brother, Jacob Weimer, and soon-to-be sister-in-law, Danielle Lessman, learned that their baby boy had passed away. Baby Dean, at one month old, had bright big eyes that just pulled you in. He was a great baby that barely cried or fussed. But always with loss comes the gut-wrenching grief. Our family is devastated and heartbroken at this sudden loss.
Losing a child is something no parent should have to go through. But, Jake and Danielle have another son at home, Damon, who is 5. Right now, they do not need to worry about anything except grieving the loss of their son.
We understand that a lot of people are struggling right now and we all understand times are hard. Having to bury your baby is a pain no parent should ever have to endure. Jake and Danielle will be needing to take time off of their jobs to grieve. Due to circumstances, they will not be earning an income and need to keep a roof over their other son, Damon's head. If you know our family, you know that we support, show up, and help whenever we can for so many.
Our family is asking for a village. If you are able, we are asking to send prayers, kind words, and donations to help with food, bills, and expenses for Jake and Danielle for the next month. Anything would be greatly appreciated. If you’re unable to donate a monetary donation, we are open to meal train donations that we are currently getting set up. You may contact me directly if you’re able to donate a meal. Thank you for taking the time to read this and please share away. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Hold your babies tight, for we never know if tomorrow is promised ❤️ if you would like to send money through cashapp or Zelle my sons cash app is $Freebills1029. Zelle is [phone redacted] and Venmo is @Tiffany-Nakutis
