In Memory of Augustin Chavez: Funeral Support

Unfortunately, my grandfather, Augustin Chavez, passed away on Tuesday, March 11th at 3:53 PM after being admitted into Mount Sinai Hospital on Monday, March 10th at around 5:00 PM for experiencing cardiac arrest in his sleep. I'm raising money to cover funeral service expenses and to cover hospital bills.

My grandfather was and will always be a great father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and most importantly, husband. He left behind a memorable legacy, but he also left behind a beautiful wife, my grandmother Emelia Chavez, who did not leave his side since the day they were married at 18 years old. He was always the light in a dark room, held out his hand to help when you needed it, and always had a smile on his face.

We are deeply saddened. This unexpected event has left us in shock, and for my grandmother, her heart was ripped from her chest as she lost the love of her life.
