In Memory of Arunn Baskaran

We are now approaching two months since Arunn’s passing and we are genuinely in awe of the response we’ve received for this campaign in his name. Arunn would have been so happy to see so many of his loved ones supporting his cause.

This year on the 28th of January, Arunn would have celebrated his 30th birthday. To celebrate his life we encourage you to donate our campaign.

Since the campaign has received so much more than we initially asked for, we are able to provide a computer lab to these schools. We would be delighted if you all donated to this campaign further so we can provide even more resources to these under-privileged schools.

Arunn was born on January 28th 1990, the eldest son of the late Baskaran Balasingham and Ingrid Romani (Rajanayagam) Baskaran. He attended St Winefride’s Catholic primary school and then Canon Palmer Catholic School.

In December 2019 Arunn would have celebrated ten years dedicated service as a signal engineer with the London Underground, a job he really enjoyed having had a keen interest in how things worked as soon as he could crawl.

Alongside looking after his family including his two year old french bulldog Trevor, Arunn was a keen crossfitter, competed in Tae Kwon Do at a national level and had a Muay Thai fight in Thailand.

Arunn will be sorely missed by his mother Ingrid Romani Gayathri Baskaran, younger brothers Aravinth and Arshan, the Balasingham family, the Rajanayagam family and scores of friends whose lives he touched in so many different ways.
