Arthur Lee Richie truly loved trains and railroads. As a volunteer at the Bluegrass Railroad Museum for over 30 years, he served in many roles and learned everything he could about the trains and railroads. While still working, Art would volunteer every weekend he could and after retirement he volunteered during the week as well. Art was active in not only the operations of the museum but the maintenance of the trains and railroads as well. He loved to run the locomotives as a licensed railroad engineer for the customers and to meet as many of the them as he could. His passion and drive helped shape the BGRM into what it is today and he will be sorely missed by all.
