In Memory of Apollo

My name is Erica. We lost our sweet doggie Apollo in 2022 as many of you will remember. Over the past 2.5 years, we have done everything we could to make sure that the off duty officer who shot Apollo in our backyard, will not be a threat to any other animals in the future.

I started this fundraiser to give an outlet to those who wanted to make something positive grow from Apollo's death, and to date we have been able to donate over $1000 to help with the care and treatment of other abused animals in our community.

This week the Prosecuting Attorney will be accepting a plea agreement in the case, and I will be updating you all on what that agreement is, and how it will impact cases like ours in the future. As there will also likely be media coverage of the outcome, I wanted to reactivate this fundraiser so that those who would like to send thoughts, comments or further donations to help other doggies suffering from abuse and violence, you have a place to do that.

We know that Apollo is still looking down and giving us opportunities to give his life and death meaning, and I want to express my gratitude and love to everyone who has reached out to us in comfort and support .
