In Memory of Anya Rose Udit: Your Support
Donation protected
It’s with a broken heart that I share this.
My mother, Anya Rose Udit (Benkabbou), passed away on June 19, 2025, after a long and difficult battle with multiple illnesses.
Back in February, she became critically ill with COVID-19, the flu, and pneumonia. After weeks of fighting, she made incredible progress, even regaining enough strength to see some of her loved ones. But she suffered a devastating setback that, heartbreakingly, she could not overcome.
Anya was an amazing mother, a loving daughter, and a dear friend to many. Her kindness, humor, and strength touched everyone who knew her. We were lucky to have her in our lives.
We are asking for any help you can offer toward cremation expenses and other potential outstanding bills from her final months. Even if you’re unable to donate, your prayers, memories, or even a kind message are just as meaningful. I plan to read every message to my grandparents (her parents), who would be deeply comforted by your words.
Thank you for supporting our family during this incredibly hard time.

Update 6-21-25
Just a quick update.
I’ve turned off donations as we’ve now reached the amount needed to ensure my mom can not only be cremated, but that we can also cover anymore remaining expenses.
It means the world to us. The outreach, the support, and the kind words so many of you have shared. We love you all, and I truly can’t express enough how much your support have meant.
At a later date, I’ll share details about a celebration of life. But for now, I’m just trying to catch my breath.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
