In Loving Memory of Antony Joseph Peter — Support His Wife & Two Young Daughters

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our dear friend, Antony Joseph Peter, following a cardiac arrest in Libertyville, Illinois.

Antony was a loving husband, a devoted father, a dear friend, a respected colleague, and a dedicated member of the Chicago Tamil community. His sudden passing has left his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire community in tremendous shock and grief.

Antony leaves behind his beloved wife and two young daughters, aged 16 and 10. Their lives have changed in an instant with the unexpected loss of their husband and father.

A Life Dedicated to Family and Community

Antony was a kind-hearted and generous person who believed strongly in giving his time and energy to others.

He was an active member and core volunteer at Gurnee Tamil School, an active member of the Chicago Tamil Sangam, and a core member of the Chicago Tamil Catholic community.

Through these organizations and communities, Antony generously volunteered his time, supported numerous activities, helped others whenever he could, and built lasting friendships with many families across the Chicagoland area.

Professionally, Antony worked with HCL America, supporting Baxter Healthcare. He was a valued colleague and friend to many people throughout his professional journey.

Antony touched many lives through his friendship, service, kindness, and willingness to help others. His sudden passing is an immense loss not only to his wife and daughters, but also to the many friends, colleagues, children, and families who knew him.

Bringing Antony Home to India

Antony’s family wishes to send his mortal remains from Chicago to India so that he can be laid to rest in his homeland, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Davenport Family Funeral Home in Lake Zurich, Illinois, is assisting the family with the arrangements to transport Antony’s remains to India.

While his wife and daughters are coping with this unimaginable and unexpected loss, they are also facing significant immediate expenses and uncertainty about their future.

How Your Contributions Will Help

As Antony’s friends, colleagues, and community members, we are coming together to raise funds to support his wife and two daughters.

Your contributions will help with:

* Transportation and repatriation of Antony’s remains from Chicago to India
* Funeral and related expenses
* Immediate living and family expenses
* Education and future needs of his 16-year-old and 10-year-old daughters
* Longer-term financial support for his wife and children as they navigate life following this devastating loss

The funds raised through this campaign are intended to directly support Antony’s wife and children during this extremely difficult time.

Antony spent so much of his life giving his time, friendship, and support to the people around him.

He was always there for his community. Now, in his family’s greatest time of need, it is our turn to come together and be there for them.

Every contribution, regardless of the amount, will make a meaningful difference. Together, we can help ease some of the immediate financial burden and provide greater security for his wife and daughters as they face the difficult days, months, and years ahead.

If you are unable to contribute financially, we kindly ask you to share this fundraiser with your friends, family, colleagues, churches, schools, and community networks. Sharing this campaign is also an invaluable form of support.

Let us come together as friends, colleagues, the Tamil community, and the wider Chicago community to honor the life and memory of Antony Joseph Peter and support the family he loved so dearly.
