Hello, my name is Karlee, and I am Debbie's Sister and Shelby is Randy's wife. Our family is reaching out during one of the hardest and most unexpected moments of our lives. After nearly a year of battling a sudden and confusing illness, and seeking answers from many doctors, we held onto hope that Anthony would recover. Even just days ago, we believed he might turn a corner. His passing has come as a heartbreaking shock to all of us — to his family, his friends, and everyone who loved him.
Anthony was a big man with an even bigger heart. He loved deeply, gave generously, and lived with a quiet strength that impacted everyone around him. He made tremendous changes in his life over the years, constantly growing, learning, and becoming an even stronger force for good. One of his greatest joys was teaching children about the Lord and showing them what genuine kindness, humility, and faith look like.
He worked hard his entire life and took immense pride in providing for his family. Asking for help is not something our family does easily, and Anthony himself was the kind of man who always handled things on his own. But with his loss comes the sudden loss of his income, unexpected end-of-life costs, and the need for Debbie, his wife, to relocate in the near future.
We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover:
Cremation and end-of-life service costs
Outstanding medical bills
Immediate financial needs resulting from the loss of Anthony’s income
Relocation expenses to help Debbie move safely and securely
If you feel led to give, please know that every donation — no matter the amount — will help support his family during this painful and uncertain time. And if you cannot donate, we ask that you keep our family in your prayers and share this page with others.
Our hearts are broken, but we are deeply grateful for every act of love shown during this time. Thank you for standing with us, for loving Anthony, and for remembering the legacy of a man who loved his friends, his family, and the Lord with all his heart. Service details to come.
With sincere gratitude,
The Family of Anthony Zappia
