Anthony Salvatore passed away on January 16, 2021 at the young age of 46. He leaves behind his amazingly strong wife Christina and three sons Domenico (11), Angelo (9) and Antonio (6).
Anthony was the owner of Filippo's on First Pizzeria in Hoboken, NJ. After losing his business during Hurricane Sandy, he was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma which he courageously battled and beat with innovations of modern treatment. He continued to fight like a warrior from the many complications that continued to come his way all the while raising his beautiful boys in East Hanover, NJ.
Anthony captured the hearts of his family, friends and community with his love for his Italian heritage and passion for food and music. He was an "old soul" who would captivate your attention with his story telling and one of a kind personality. He was happiest when surrounded by his immediate family, along with his sister Tina, brothers Giulio and Marc, and their countless family members.
At this time, we would like to support Christina, Domenico, Angelo and Antonio in the most fitting manner possible to honor his legacy. This will look out for their future and the education aspirations of his children. We kindly ask that you contribute to this effort.
