My name is Jonathan Ramos and my father, Anthony Matthew Ramos, known to most as (Papa Tony) or Pops, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 21st, 2025, at home in Visalia, CA. He's survived by his wife, 6 kids, and 14 grandchildren, and was known to always be there for any of our friends growing up, as well as being involved with youth sports like football and wrestling. He lived many lives and worked some extremely hard and stressful jobs like explosives, mining, construction, mechanic, race-car builder, boat racer, firefighter, truck driver, bodyguard and more stories and knowledge than you can tell in a short lifetime. More than all, he was a great father who, when put to the ultimate test to give up or take care of 5 kids on his own, worked 60 hr. weeks and somehow kept us safe, leading by example of what being a good dad means, being present, and always providing, teaching, protecting and supporting us no matter what. He truly was a great man who cared about everyone he met and will be truly missed. God Bless You, Papa ❤️ any and all donations will be used for final expenses and to spread his ashes in Monterrey Bay where his father passed.
