In loving memory of Anthony (Tony) Hernandez Verdoza: A Father, Son, Brother, and Grandpa,
On October 2nd, 2025, our family lost a beautiful soul. Anthony passed away at the age of 57 after a courageous battle with B-cell lymphoma cancer. His passing has left a deep void in our hearts, but his love, laughter, and legacy will live on forever.
Anthony was the third youngest of eight siblings and the beloved son of Ramona, with whom he lived with and shared a close bond. He was a father to Tierra and Anthony Jr., and a proud grandpa (weezy) to his three granddaughters—Kailee, Remington, and Willow—who were truly the light of his life. His family was everything to him, and he gave them his whole heart.
Though he wasn’t from Dallas, Anthony was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan—win or lose, he cheered with passion and pride. He was a man of quiet strength, a hard worker, an amazing artist and someone you could always count on. His sense of humor, artistic talent, and unwavering support made him unforgettable to everyone who knew him.
In accordance with his wishes, Anthony will be cremated, and there will be no formal funeral services. Instead, he will be lovingly brought home to Show Low, Arizona, where his daughter Tierra and his granddaughters will keep his memory alive in the place he felt most at peace.
We are raising funds to help cover cremation costs and the expenses of bringing Anthony home. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us honor his final wishes and support the family he cherished so deeply.
