In Memory of Annie & Tammy

Annie Clark(29) and her mother Tammy Jo Dunn(59) were  killed in a brutal attack on March 5. Annie left her abusive husband, filed for divorce and had a protective order in place. Her mother, Tammy Jo, was staying with Annie to help protect her while they searched for a new place for Annie to live.

Annie’s abuser broke into her apartment window and attacked both women. They courageously fought back, wounding the attacker. An alert neighbor spotted Annie’s dogs, Gary and Tookie, running frightened and loose and knew something was wrong. They called police, but it was too late. Annie died at the scene, and Tammy Jo died a few hours later at the hospital.


Annie loved her family and her dogs. She was so loved by us, her friends and her clients. Tammy Jo gave her life trying to protect her daughter.
