In memory of Annamarie Rivera

Dear friends, family, and community, With a heavy heart, I come before you to share the devastating news of the passing of my beloved mother, Annamarie Rivera. Tragically, her life was cut short at the age of 57 due to complications from pneumonia and ongoing health challenges. The weight of this tragedy is immense, and in this difficult time, I humbly seek your support, love, and strength. Although my mother faced her own share of struggles, battling substance abuse as a way to cope with personal trauma and hardships, she remained a daughter, a mother, and a friend. Despite her own battles, she possessed a heart full of compassion, always extending a helping hand to those in need. Born on May 26th, 1965, in Glendale, California, she was a remarkable woman, incredibly intelligent, with a wonderful sense of humor, and a natural entrepreneurial spirit. She pursued education and earned her Associate's degree from Los Angeles Valley College. Her utmost priority was to be a loving daughter and a supportive mother, but unfortunately, she encountered numerous social and economic setbacks that hindered her from fully realizing her potential. Over time, the substance abuse took its toll on her body, ultimately causing her heart to fail while experiencing medical complications. In the midst of this profound sadness and loss, I have decided to launch this GoFundMe campaign, reaching out to you for your invaluable support. Your generous contributions will be used to cover the expenses associated with her funeral and the necessary arrangements following the passing of a loved one.
