In Memory of Annabel Rojas

Our hearts are heavy as we share the news of the passing of our beloved sister, Annabel Rojas. Annabel lost her battle with Lupus and passed away on 2/28/23 at 9:10am. She was only 23 years old and had been battling Lupus for the past three years.

Just back in September 2022, Annabel moved from San Antonio, TX back to Orange County, CA to get better treatment for her Lupus. Leaving behind her parents and siblings, this was the first time she was on her own. Despite the challenges, Annabel was determined to start a new life here while undergoing medical treatment. She managed to get a job at Pagehub and was doing everything she could to prosper.

Unfortunately, Annabel won't get to live a full life and fulfill her dreams and aspirations. Our family is devastated by her loss and the thought of not being able to see her grow and thrive.

Despite her illness, Annabel was a fighter who never let her condition define her. She remained strong and hopeful, always with a smile on her face. Just the night before she passed, my wife and I visited her at the hospital. She was full of life, laughing, telling jokes, and sharing memories of when we were younger and plans for the future. She talked about getting boba and making our mom's polzole recipe when she got back home.

We never imagined that this would be the last time we would see her smile and share her company. We had plans for a bonfire once the weather warmed up. She loved the beach and singing. Earlier this month we sang a few of our favorite songs and watched the waves crash into the sand after the sun had set. I'm not sure what to say, that was the last time I'll get to sing with her.

Annabel was a ray of sunshine in our lives, and her passing has left a void that cannot be filled. As we come to terms with the loss of Annabel, we are reaching out to our community for help. We are asking for your support to help us cover the funeral costs for Annabel.

We know that Annabel touched the lives of so many people and we are grateful for any amount you can donate to help us give her a proper farewell. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family to help us spread the word.

Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time.
