In memory of Anita Montoya

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Anita on September 15.

Anita has so many friends and family and will be deeply missed.

She was a teacher by profession but taught so many of us the true meaning of love. In the words of those who knew her best: "Anita was an amazing woman," "a gem," "Anita was always smiling and laughing," "her laughter was contagious."

She was a "beautiful friend" and "very much loved."

Anita was so full of life and light. "This world will be a little bit dimmer without her light."

There are so many of you who have memories of Anita.

We appreciate your compassionate thoughts and prayers. As expected, we are all devastated and unprepared for the expense of Anita's final farewell. We would like to give Anita the memorial (she'll call it a party!) she deserves.

To do so, we are asking for assistance with the cremation and memorial arrangements. Any contribution is appreciated (and allows us to focus on grieving).

Thank you for your generosity and please continue to share stories of Anita. Let's keep her memory alive.
