Dear family and friends:
Thank you everyone for all you kind words and support during these long 5 days that my family and I unfortunately had to faced again, after a short time after my oldest brothers passing, my fathers first born.
My dad went into a depression that found himself not having any will to continue living himself, trying to understand why his son left this world before him. If you knew my dad he was always the life of the party and always the first to get up dance and loved putting on a show for everyone.
My dad had decided he wanted to change his ways and relocate to Puerto Rico and live the rest of his days in our beautiful island, with his sister. After three weeks he started to get home sick, and I made that call and asked him if he wanted to come back home, where all his family that loved him so much was at, and without thinking twice he responded, YES!! :) Lol
The same week he arrived back in Chicago, he suffered a massive stroke on the left side of his brain, the doctors immediately confirmed that my dads life will no longer be the same, and we had to decide for him what quality of life he would of wanted. My dad went into hospice care, slept peacefully and comfortably for 4 days, opened his eyes at the end of the 5th day and looked at me on his bedside with a tear in his eyes, like telling me he was ready to part this word and did by taking his last breath.
My family and I are asking to open your hearts to us again for any donations that will help my dad put him to rest in peace as he deserves, anything will help.
Thank you in advance for your attention and understanding.
Love,
Susan Ayala
