On New Year’s Day, the Paredes-Acuña-Alvarado family’s lives were forever changed by a devastating car accident. Three cherished sisters—Angie, Nelly, and Pina—along with Pina’s husband, Efrain, were on their way to Hermosillo, a trip they often made, to visit another sister and celebrate the holidays together. Tragically, Angie, Nelly, and Efrain lost their lives in the crash.

Pina miraculously survived and is now on a courageous journey to recover. She is fighting every day to regain her strength so she can return home to her children and grandchildren, who are eagerly awaiting her recovery.

We humbly ask for your help during this incredibly difficult time. All funds raised through this GoFundMe will be shared with the surviving family members to assist with expenses and provide support as they face this heartbreaking journey of healing and grief.
