In Memory of Angel Mejia: Support His Loved Ones

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Angel Mejia on 2/13/25. Angel had been battling bone marrow cancer for some time, even though through it all he always held a positive, uplifting spirit and found a way to bring light to a room.

He left a loving family of 3 brothers and 3 sisters, including his mom. He was a very family-oriented man, and his family meant everything to him. He enjoyed hobbies of DJing, collecting vinyls, and hosting cookouts for everybody. If you were close to Angel, you knew he would go above and beyond for events such as Super Bowl Sunday, birthdays, and special occasions. Music has always been a part of Angel; since he was a kid, he fell in love with the culture of hip-hop and breakdancing. In his free time, he would practice scratching, mixing, and listening to records with his siblings, nieces, and nephews. He left so many beautiful memories that we will hold in our hearts forever. We will miss him dearly, and he will never be forgotten.

Anybody who knows Angel knows that he was a very private person and reserved, yet once you talked to him, he was very easygoing and made you feel comfortable. He was always independent and did everything in his power to provide for his family. We hope you understand as a family it is difficult for us to put his personal business out there today and to finally ask for help, but with sudden expenses, anything is deeply appreciated.

We understand that everybody goes through hard times and has their own personal finances, so anything helps that comes out of your heart. Whether it be your love and support, a donation, sharing this post, or sending prayers, love, and peace, all is accepted and very much appreciated.
