It is with a very heavy heart that I’m setting up this fundraiser to help support my neighbour’s family following the heartbreaking loss of Andy Childs

He was sadly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just six weeks ago, and tragically passed away on 16th August at early hours of the morning. Everything has happened so incredibly quickly, leaving his family devastated and now facing the difficult reality of arranging his funeral.

He was one of those genuinely kind people who would do anything for anyone. He was always willing to help others and was loved and thought highly of by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His loss has left a huge hole in the lives of his family, friends and everyone who knew him.

I’m hoping that, by coming together, we can take a little of the financial pressure away from his family and help give him the funeral he deserves, allowing them to concentrate on grieving and saying goodbye to someone so special.
