Anders was a familiar presence in our horse show community, most often seen ringside supporting his daughters. While he came from a completely different world, as a former triple jumper on the Swedish national team, he fully embraced the sport his family loved. He had once imagined retiring by the ocean in Florida, but instead chose to settle in Ocala, where his family could fully pursue the sport they were so passionate about. He took the time to learn it, stayed involved, and was always there for his wife and daughters, someone people came to know for his kindness and steady support.
His passing was sudden and unexpected. He was tragically struck by a vehicle while mowing on the family’s farm.
He leaves behind his wife, Anna, and daughters Elin and Maja, who are now facing an unimaginable loss. In the days ahead, they will be navigating the grief of losing him along with the many practical challenges that come with it.
This fundraiser has been created to support the Mossberg family during this difficult time, helping to ease immediate financial burdens and provide some stability as they begin to move forward.
If you are able to give, any amount will make a meaningful difference. If not, sharing this with others who knew Anders or who are part of this community is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for keeping the Mossberg family in your thoughts and prayers, and for any support you are able to provide.
This fundraiser is being organized by members of the World Equestrian Center community on behalf of the Mossberg family, with their permission. All donations go directly to the family.
