Life can change in an instant, and it did for the Gonzalez family on January 20, 2025, when Ana Gonzalez was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic/Liver Cancer with only 1-1.5 years with her family. Hearing the life-changing news, she made a choice to not give up and to not let cancer win. Ana chose to fight this battle with courage, strength, love, and the support from her family.

Sadly, even with all the strength she had, cancer won and she passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Ana left behind her 3 boys who now not only have to grieve the loss of their mother but also carry the financial burden of funeral costs and medical expenses.

Ana was more than a fighter; she was a loving mother, supportive sister, gracious host, a lover of Christmas, Winnie the Pooh, and dancing. If you have ever spent any time with Ana, you knew how big her heart was. Ana had a smile that would light up the room and the energy to match. She was a hardworking woman who made sure to provide for her family here but also back home in El Salvador.
