On the morning of September 8th, 2024, our lives changed forever. My name is Nikki Diaz, and I am the firstborn daughter of Amber Gonzales. Tragically, my mother decided to take her own life in a way that none of us could have ever imagined.

Amber leaves behind her four daughters: myself, Nikki Diaz, Kylie Diaz, Lauren Gonzales, and Zoe Gonzales. She is also survived by her two beloved grandsons, Nico and Gio Jimenez, her father, Kim Gong, her brother, Eli Gong, her sister in law, Tiffani Gong, her husband, Eddie Gonzales, and her many nieces and nephews-Jensen, Gillian, Jadyn, Giana, Gavin, Tatum, and Jaxson. My mom touched so many lives, and she will be missed dearly by her close friends and family.

In this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out for support to help us honor her memory and give her the farewell she deserves. We are also hoping to raise awareness about the importance of checking in on our loved ones. Sometimes, the pain someone is carrying remains hidden, even to those closest to them.
