In Memory of Allen Jones: Support Paulette & Jeremy
Donation protected
My name is Jeremy Jones. I want to introduce people to my father, Allen Jones. On May 24th, my father passed away from kidney disease. I was my father's caregiver ever since he was diagnosed with kidney disease. In addition to caring for my father, I am currently a caregiver to my mother, Paulette Jones, a former Gar-Field High School English teacher.
My mother needs help financially paying funeral costs and other bills. It has been overwhelming and exhausting for both my mother and me, but it's been especially difficult for my mother. My father was beloved by his former co-workers, church family at Motiv8 Church, his family back in Houston, Texas, and by his own family. He enjoyed barbecue, he loved watching classic films like The Wizard of Oz and King Kong, and since he was from Texas, he had a special interest in Westerns. My best memories of spending time with my father were when he would teach me about history and politics and the time he gave me a surprise birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese when I was a kid. As a forty-year-old man, I am proud of my father and thankful for him raising me to be the man that I am today. I am also grateful to God that I was there for my father when he was constantly sick and in pain from the kidney disease. I miss my father, but I know that he is present with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the Kingdom of Heaven. I smile every time I picture my father as an angel flying around, laughing joyfully, and being free from the troubles of this world. My father's life was a life well lived.
All donations will go towards helping my mother and I pay bills and any debts as we continue to grieve over the loss of her husband, my father, Allen Jones.
