On Saturday, August 10, 2019, our dear friend Alicia Brittle passed away from the effects of breast cancer.
Few knew of her condition because she didn't want anyone to know, as she was determined to beat it. She had undergone arduous treatments at St. Mary's Hospital since January 2018.
As you can imagine, the medical bills have taken a toll on the family's finances. If you are so inclined, in lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to help Alicia's husband, Gerald, pay for final expenses.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Friday August 16, 2019 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 300 North Shepherd Street, Richmond. 23221 Burial will follow immediately thereafter at Mount Calvary Cemetery near the big Cross.
