It is with a heavy heart that we share the news with our community that our beloved Alexis Ayala has passed away on Sunday, May 3rd at the tender age of 24.
Alexis was a father, husband, community leader, youth organizer, health promoter and student at FREE LA High School and Youthbuild Charter School at the Youth Justice Coalition in South Central L.A. since the year 2019.
We are asking for donations at this time to help us cover burial, funeral and financial support for Alexis daughter and his family during this difficult time.
We greatly appreciate every message, phone call and memory that you all have shared with us so far. We will soon have updates about a service and other ways to honor Alexis. ❤️
