In Loving Memory of Alex Ramos — Supporting His Wife and Young Children

Our community is coming together after the heartbreaking and sudden loss of Alex Ramos, a husband, father, son and hardworking tow truck driver whose life was tragically cut short while he was doing his job.

Alex was working roadside, loading a vehicle, when he was struck and killed. Alex leaves behind his wife, his mother, and two very young children, only 4 and 1 years old. At an age when their biggest worries should be bedtime stories, toys and what they want for breakfast, these children are now facing life without their dad.

Those who work in the towing and recovery industry do a job most of us don't think twice about until we're stranded and need them. They work alongside speeding traffic, in bad weather, at night and in dangerous conditions, helping complete strangers get home safely. Alex was doing exactly that when his life was taken.

Now it is our turn to help his family.

We are raising money to help ease the immediate financial burden on Alex's loved ones. Donations will first help with funeral and final expenses so his family can concentrate on grieving and saying goodbye without also having to carry that financial worry. Any funds remaining after those expenses will go toward supporting Alex's wife and helping provide for their two young children as they face the difficult months and years ahead without him.

There is no amount of money that can replace a husband, a son or a father. It cannot give two little children their dad back. But together, we can make sure this family knows they are not facing this tragedy alone.
