In Memory of Alex Look

Hi my name is Jess Abezis and I've created this GoFundMe for my Dear friend the late Alex Look who unfortunately left us too soon when he was brutally Murdered at the festival In south of Israel.

He was a dear childhood friend, he was a son, a brother and a shining light of joy amongst our community.

No parents should ever have to think about burying their child. Ever. Let alone face the aftermath without guidance and community.

When one of us are hit we are all hit. The heroic measures Alex took saved lives and cost him his. He didn't deserve such a death and I'm determined to make that known.

Donations will go entirely to Alex's family to help out with cost of Funeral as well as a cushion to address long term coping through this difficult time their family must face.

1. Getting his body back or remains are the first task at hand.

2. I don't believe in the public healthcare system in Quebec nor will they be equipped to handle this family's tragedy and the main reason im creating this GoFundMe is so they can get real qualified support through the next year. This goes for his entire immediate family.

3. Funeral expenses and reception

Funeral, casket, plot and tombstone + Reception roughly $15k - $20k

Therapy $200 a session twice a week for a year for Mother, father and Sister roughly $15k

Shipping a corpse internationally is between $15k -$20k

Miscellaneous expenses such as flight to Israel should need be $5k

Total is around $60k

No one asked me to make this. I'm doing it out of moral obligation as a Friend as a Jew and as a Man. I will not stand idle as they parade in the streets tarnishing his legacy.

Hamas wanted to make an example out of them at that festival im determined to give My friend the send off he deserves.
