️In Memory of Alex Caso ️ — an unseen hero
Life, like an X-ray, doesn’t always show what’s on the surface.
Sometimes, you have to stand behind the glass. Stay still.
Sometimes, it takes a trained eye to see what’s broken.
Alex Caso understood this.
He lived it every day — behind machines, behind masks, behind moments most people never notice.
He saw the shadows inside the body and helped bring light to the truth. That was his job. That was his calling.
He was an exceptional radiology tech, but he was more than a man with a machine.
He was the kind of person who reminded us that not all heroes stand at the front. Some stand just outside the frame. Quiet. Focused. Necessary.
With steady hands, he captured the invisible. Not just bones and lungs — but the fragile line between worry and relief, questions and answers.
He gave doctors what they needed to act.
He gave patients what they needed to heal.
And he did it without noise. Without ego. Without ever needing thanks.
In life, we all carry things we don’t see — fractures beneath the surface, wounds we can’t name.
Alex helped find them.
Every day. Every scan. Every night.
He showed up, calm and certain, like the hum of the X-ray machine — constant, comforting, unseen but essential.
Now, the machine is quiet.
His absence rings louder than any alarm.
And yet, he stays;
in every image still stored,
in every patient helped,
in every colleague who learned by watching the way he worked.
There are people who take pictures.
And there are people who help us see.
Alex helped us see.
And we will not forget.
Rest in peace, Alex.
