In Memory of Alejandro Gonzalez

My uncle, Alejandro Gonzalez, was hospitalized two months ago when he was diagnosed with Covid and fought tirelessly for his life on the ventilator. With all the pain in our hearts, we share that my uncle, who was like a second father to me, passed away from a heart attack on Thursday night, January 13 in Hollister, CA.

 

Alejandro Gonzalez was an essential worker that worked tirelessly during the pandemic to provide for his three daughters whom he loved so much: Venus, Gilda, and Kate. My uncle was a true warrior who overcame Cancer twice and all life challenges that were thrown at him. He was a hard-working, kind-hearted, and funny person who leaves a huge void in our hearts.

 

I am setting up this GoFundMe page to help financially support the costs for all funeral arrangements and to grant my uncle's last wish to repatriate his remains to his home in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Mi tio, Alejandro Gonzalez estuvo hospitalizado hace dos meses cuando le diagnosticaron con Covid y luchó incansablemente por su vida en el ventilador por un mes. Con todo el dolor en nuestros corazones, compartimos que mi tío, quien fue como un segundo padre para mí, falleció de un infarto la noche del jueves 13 de enero en Hollister, CA.

 

Alejandro González fue un trabajador esencial que trabajó incansablemente durante la pandemia para mantener a sus tres hijas a las que tanto amaba: Venus, Gilda y Kate. Mi tío fue un verdadero guerrero que superó el cáncer dos veces y todos los desafíos que Dios puso en su camino. Era una persona muy trabajadora, con un buen corazón y alegre que deja un gran vacío en nuestros corazones.

 

Estoy organizando esta página de GoFundMe para ayudar cubrir los gastos funerarios y para cumplir el último deseo de mi tío de repatriar sus restos a su hogar en Oaxaca, México.
